DCHS Supermarket Vouchers - Questions

How is DCHS able to qualify for these discounts?

        We get a discount for ordering gift vouchers in bulk.

How much discount does the school receive?

        For every £100 worth of vouchers, Waitrose give us back £7.50, Tesco £5 & Sainsbury’s £2.50. 

How do I buy the vouchers?

            We will buy the gift vouchers on your behalf; all you need to do is to spend them like cash in the supermarkets.

What do I do next?

Simply complete a standing order form & return it to school or you can set it up direct with your bank; then simply let us know which vouchers or gift cards you would like to order.

Is there a limit to the number of vouchers I can buy?

        No. You can buy any number of vouchers from any or all the supermarkets. All orders will benefit the school, whatever their size.

How do I get my vouchers?

1. Your daughter collects them from the dining room OR

2. You can collect them yourself when prompted by email OR

3. For orders over £150, they can be sent, insured, by Royal Mail ‘Special Delivery’, at an additional cost of £4.95.

How do I spend my vouchers?

The vouchers can be spent like cash on everything in the supermarkets, whilst you continue to get your Clubcard /Nectar points.  Only Waitrose vouchers can be used on-line at ocado.com & johnlewis.com, as well as at any branch of John Lewis. Tesco and Sainsbury’s vouchers can be used at their petrol stations.
