The Challoner's Girls Foundation

The Challoner's Girls Foundation aims to bring together the energies, ideas and talents of all the people who have an interest in seeing our school continue to excel .

Launch Event

Bill Turnbull unveiled a plaque next to the main entrance, to mark the launch of the foundation, Earlier, 500 balloons were released from the playing fields - it being 500 days until the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Girls school on its present site. [ Those inflating the balloons would have been happier with 250 days.. ]

Foundation & PA

Although the PA and the Foundation have similar objectives - supporting the school - their activities are entirely complementary. The PA committee encourages parents to visit the Foundation website, and enrol as 'Friends or Family', while of course continuing to support events organised by the PA
