All parents of DCHS girls are members of the PA, and are most welcome at any of our fund-raising events during the year. We keep in touch with parents via Email, a quarterly newsletter, notes sent home with the girls, & this website.
If you would like to be more actively involved with the PA, then there are several possibilities -
- Help your class rep - Each class has a PA representative, & each of the year 7 & 8 classes is asked to help out with organising one of our events during the course of the year. Any assistance is welcome, even if you can only spare an hour or so.
- If any of our other events interest you, contact the organisers - we are allways grateful for extra help.
- If there are other events you think the PA might arrange, then contact the committee - over the past two years, the Indulgence & East West Fusion evenings have been suggested by new parents & are now part of the program.
- The PA management committee meets at the school on the first Monday of each month, to arrange the future program and consider requests from the school for assistance, financial or otherwise. Committee members are responsible for coordinating Discos, Uniform Sales, the 200 club, bookkeeping etc & without a committee, the PA could not exist as a registered charity.
